Specialized Dive Services
Get experienced underwater assistance with search and recovery, cutting, hazard removal, hydro-washing, documentation, and project-specific marine work.
More Than Routine Boat Cleaning
High Tide Dive Service is a full-service underwater resource for boat owners, marinas, boatyards, and marine contractors. In addition to hull cleaning, propeller service, and zinc replacement, High Tide performs underwater inspections, rope and debris removal, search and recovery, underwater cutting, photography and video documentation, hydro-washing, and selected salvage-related work.
Every project is evaluated based on the vessel, location, water conditions, access, equipment requirements, and the safest approach for completing the work.
Trusted Below the Waterline
When your boat’s performance, safety, and underwater equipment are on the line, experience matters. With more than 10,000 dives completed and over 60 recurring boat owners who trust High Tide Dive Service, Logan Guy has built a reputation for honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
Whether it is routine maintenance or a challenging underwater project, customers can expect professional service and clear communication from start to finish.
Know What Is Happening Beneath Your Boat
Problems below the waterline are often difficult to diagnose from the dock. Unusual vibration, reduced performance, visible corrosion, or a recent grounding may indicate an issue with the propeller, shaft, rudder, hull, or other submerged equipment.
High Tide provides visual underwater inspections with photo and video documentation when appropriate. This gives boat owners, mechanics, marinas, and contractors useful information before deciding whether maintenance, repairs, or a haul-out may be necessary.
Common Reasons to Request an Inspection
- Unusual vibration or reduced performance
- A recent grounding or underwater impact
- Suspected propeller or running gear damage
- Rope or fishing line entanglement
- Missing or deteriorated zinc anodes
- Pre-purchase or maintenance documentation
- Confirmation of completed underwater work
Honest Recommendations. Clear Communication.
High Tide does not recommend unnecessary work. Before service begins, the project is reviewed based on the information available, and customers receive a clear explanation of the recommended approach.
After the work is completed, High Tide explains what was found, what was done, and whether anything may require further evaluation by a mechanic, boatyard, or another marine professional.
What Customers Can Expect
- Dependable scheduling and direct communication
- Careful work around the vessel and marina
- Practical recommendations based on actual conditions
- Underwater documentation when appropriate
- Respect for the customer’s time and investment
Prepared for Challenging Underwater Conditions
Underwater boat work may involve limited visibility, cold water, strong currents, sharp marine growth, entanglement hazards, and restricted working areas around docks and vessels. High Tide approaches each project with careful planning, professional equipment, redundant tools, and safety practices appropriate to the work being performed.
Logan’s experience includes recreational and technical scuba diving, Nitrox, and thousands of dives completed in demanding marine environments.
Serving Boat Owners and Marine Businesses Across the Carolina Coast
High Tide Dive Service works with private boat owners, marinas, boatyards, mechanics, waterfront businesses, and marine contractors throughout Coastal North Carolina. Service is available from the Morehead City area through Wilmington and toward Myrtle Beach, depending on the scope and location of the project.
High Tide works on a wide range of recreational and commercial vessels, commonly from approximately 24 to 58 feet, with each request evaluated individually.
Tell us about your boat, where it is located, and what you are experiencing. Include vessel details, marina information, photos, or a description of the problem when possible. High Tide will review the request and help determine the most appropriate next step.
